Jimmie Sven Ericsson (born 22 February, 1980) is an Swedish professional ice hockey player. Left Wing , who played with Skelleftea AIK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).

Ericsson played for Sweden in his Sweden’s participation at the 2014 IIHF World Championship, where Ericsson scored two goals over 10 games, and earned an Olympic bronze medal. Ericsson played for Sweden during the 2015 IIHF World Championship, where there were two assists recorded in eight games. Ericsson was a part of Sweden in the 2016 IIHF World Championship, where Ericsson was captain of the team with three assists and one goal during eight games.

In 2014 Ericsson help lead Skellefteå AIK to the Swedish Championship for the second year in a row, becoming the first club to repeat as champions since Djurgårdens IF in 2000 and 2001. Ericsson was the third-leading scorer during the playoffs, recording twelve goals and two assists in fourteen games.

In 2013, Ericsson was given the Guldpucken and the Peter Forsberg Trophy after a year in which Skelleftea AIK won the Swedish Championship for the first time since 1978.

The younger sister of Jimmie Jonathan is a defensive player who currently plays in the Detroit Red Wings. They Ericsson brothers were scheduled to play in a professional setting for the first time during the 2010 World Championships. Following Detroit’s exit from the 2009 Stanley Cup playoffs, Jonathan joined Sweden’s national team during the World Championships. The brothers were part of the team together but Jimmie suffered a knee injury during his first shift and was out for the remainder of the competition, which meant they didn’t get playing together on the ice. The brothers played in their first game in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, which they won an Olympic silver medal. Jimmie is the sole player who was not a member of the NHL team.
