He decided to go back to college for his final season with the intention of increasing his draft prospects. However, it didn’t work out since no teams drafted the player in 2002.
Green has spent his entire professional career overseas. He has played in leagues in Belgium, Poland, Italy, and Germany. His most successful season was in 2006–07 after he was named the German Bundesliga’s MVP. Despite never attaining his dream of playing the National Basketball Association, Green has kept a positive attitude about his situation: “I’ve gotten to experience different cultures and see new things…And the fans over here are crazy about basketball. In the year 2000-01 the year he was in his junior year, the program saw a major change in the team’s fortunes as Green helped them win record-setting 25 wins at the school (along by five defeats). They took home their first ever conference championship, and were invited to participate during the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) which they were eliminated in the first round. Green scored 19.0 scores, 4.8 rebounding and 3.0 assists. He was recognized as”the” Big West Player of the Year. In the process, he was also named league player of the week five times. He scored two shots that won games two in the game against Long Beach State and one against Boise State.

An alumnus of Pomona, California, Green played as a star at Pomona High School in 1994 until 1998. Green remained in the state to play basketball in college and then decided to play with The UC Irvine Anteaters.
In the 1998-99 freshman season, he played in every game and scored 12.8 points per game. Green’s scoring was the top of the team, along with the team’s 3.9 assists per game as well as 38 steals total. In the game against Northern Arizona, Green had his best performance of the season.
