Jerald Dustin DeVore (born on November 26th 1973, in Peoria, Illinois, United States) is known as his nickname, Jerry DeVore, is an American educator and freelance bassist within New York City. His career path began in Illinois playing with orchestras for symphony commercial music as well as jazz ensembles, musical theater as well as various recording sessions. When he left Illinois in 1997 the musician. DeVore toured the nation with the Air Force Band, until 2001. In the time between, he continued to record and perform with large and small jazz bands within The Omaha, Nebraska area, and his primary responsibilities included with the AF Concert Band and Jazz Band. After departing from the AF in the year 2000, the Mr. DeVore continued studying classical music, and he joined an R&B group known as the Confidentials. The group would perform for the group, as well as local jazz musicians, up until his move in 2008 to New York City in 2008.
