Jeremy Michel Neville Inkel (8 February 1983 11 January , 2018) was a Canadian electronic musician who was based in Vancouver. He was known best as a keyboardist as well as a programmer with Left Spine Down and electro- industrial band Front Line Assembly as well as producing tracks for many famous musicians around the world. He began working in Left spine Down in 2003 when he was replaced by the original band founding member Frank Valoczy. He was invited to join Front Line Assembly in 2005 and contributed his first work to their album from 2006 Artificial Soldier. He also contributed in the Front Line Assembly side-projects Noise Unit and Delerium. Inkel passed away from complications of asthma at 34 on the 11th of January, 2018.

In 2009, Inkel returned to Front Line Assembly Co-writing and co-producing the album Improvised Electronic Device and”Shifting Through the Lens” single “Shifting Through the Lens”. The albums were released in the year 2010. Due to Inkel’s previous experience as a member of The Revolting Cocks, he invited Al Jourgensen to produce and mix the album, as well as perform vocals on the song “Stupidity”, alongside Justin Hagberg as vocalist and guitarist for 3 Inches Of Blood.

In the year 2003 Inkel joined forces to form Left Spine Down along with KAIN D3L4Y along with Matt Girvan. Their shared love of electronic music and punk rock led them to perform as headliners and openers for touring bands in Vancouver. When LSD began work on their debut album Fighting for Voltage with Chris Peterson, Inkel was accepted to Front Line Assembly in 2005. Inkel co- wrote and produced the album in its entirety Artificial Soldier (released in 2006). FLA then took Inkel (as in LSD former member Jared Slingerland) on tour to promote the Artificial Soldier album. The band quickly followed that with their remix album Fallout which toured around the world for two years as a group, and co-headlining several festivals like Mera Luna, Summer Darkness as well as Amphi Festival (featuring famous artists like Nitzer Ebb Bauhaus, Apoptygma Berzerk, Bloc Party, VNV Nation, The Killers and other artists).

In 2008 and 2009, Inkel as well as Left Spine Down open for bands like The Genitorturers, ohGr, The Birthday Massacre, and the Revolting Cocks’ North American Lubricatour (with Jim Rose, Blownload and Left Spine Down as guests). In the latter year, Inkel started working closely in conjunction with the 16volt’s Eric Powell, providing his assistance on their forthcoming album American Porn Songs (“To Hell”) and also coordinating Left Spine Down’s participation on their North American MIDI GHETTO TOUR that included thirty- three performances featuring 16volt and Chemlab in the spring of 2010.
