Jason Croker (born 10 March 1973) is an Australian former professional footballer in the league. A former Australian international as well as a New South Wales State of Origin representative utility player He played soccer in club teams of the NRL for the Canberra Raiders, with whom they won in 1994 the Winfield Cup and set club records for the most total games and most tries. Croker played the rest of his career at French Super League club Catalans Dragons.
Croker signed a contract for two years to join the French team, the Catalans Dragons from 2007, which, after two highly successful seasons, was extended by an additional year in 2008. Croker’s playing experience added importance to the young French team as well as his physical stamina and passion to play are highly regarded by many. Croker received the honour of being named Canberra Raiders’ rookie of the year in 1991 . Croker went on to play in a variety of positions throughout his career, filling in various positions in his squad.
