Ian Tracey Benjamin, born 11 December 1961, is an ex- professional English footballer. He made almost 500 appearances between 1979 and 1994 in the Football League. He was primarily a forward.
Andy Furnell was his assistant and he was named manager of Yaxley in June 2015. On 31 March 2016, Benjamin resigned from his position as Yaxley manager. He stated that he didn’t feel supported by the entire committee. He was appointed manager of Stewarts & Lloyds Corby in June 2016. He resigned in December 2017.
At the beginning of 2005-06 season, he returned to Soham Town Rangers and led the club to its first Eastern Counties League title. In 2007-08, the club was promoted to the Southern League. After leaving Soham, he was a youth coach at Northampton Town and a Scout for Swindon Town.

In the late 1990s, he was appointed to his first managerial position at Corby Town. After managing Warboys Town, he worked part-time at Royal Mail. He later joined Soham Town Rangers as an assistant player and was promoted to joint manager in May 2001. Benjamin was named Wisbech Town manager in January 2002.
In his youth, he struggled and it wasn’t until he joined Peterborough United did he become a regular first team player. After a stint in midfield, he joined the Cobblers and was awarded the player of year award. Although he was a good fit with Graham Carr’s team, he lost his place because the manager thought he had other options for Northampton. Benjamin joined several clubs later. Southend United promoted Benjamin and he was also responsible for the Bury goal. However, he was still with Luton Town after they were relegated. He signed for Bury Town in 1996, and he was promoted to the non-League.
