Dmitry Aleksandrovich Svishchev (Russian: Dmitrii Aleksandrovich svishchiov ; born on the 22nd of May, 1969 in Moscow) is a Russian politician and member in the 7th State Duma of the Russian Federation. He gained notoriety as an entrepreneur and sports manager.
Svishchev was the first vice-president in the Russian Federation of Skiing and Snowboarding that began to hold major alpine skiing competitions through his direct participation and his leadership. He helped in the selection in 2007 of the International Ski Federation to hold the Snowboard World Cup in two disciplines in Russia for the first time. The competition featured the first ever parallel slalom track on the world’s longest snow ramp.
Svishchev completed his studies at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation in 2004 and specialized in credit and finance.

After his discharge in the Soviet Armed Forces, Svishchev established a modeling company in 1994.
