Yoshika Arai, Japanese: Huang Jing Yue Jia, nee Tatsumi Japanese; Chen Si – born 26 February 1982), is a Japanese long- and middle-distance runner. She is best known for her 3000m steeplechase. Her personal best time in that event is 9 minutes and 55.93 minutes.

Arai, a Japanese competitor, returned to competition in 2012. She won her first national title at Japan Championships in Athletics 2012. Hayakari (nearly forty) lost in the final. Arai’s winning time in 9:55.93 was not enough to qualify her for Japan’s 2012 Summer Olympics selection. She was fourth at the 2013 Asian Athletics Championships, and retained her title in steeplechase at the 2013 Japan Championships in Athletics.

Arai concentrated on steeplechase in 2008. She dipped below ten minutes at the Barcelona Meeting again, but was still behind Hayakari, Kazuka Wakatsuki, and the Japanese Championships. Arai was not selected for 2008 Beijing Olympics. She won the Oda Memorial in 2009 and was second to Hayakari at Japanese Championships. Hayakari was at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics. Arai was Japan’s representative to the 2009 Asian Athletics Championships. She defeated all-comers and won gold in a championship record of 10:05.94. Arai was the Japanese runner up at the 2010 nationals, but she didn’t compete in 2011. Hayakari, a national rival, beat Hayakari’s Asian championship record in 2011.

After taking up steeplechase and cross-country running in 2007, she began to make progress in the sport. She was selected for the 2007 Asian Cross Country Championships, March 2007. She came eighth.
