George Theo Teague (born February 18th 1971) is an ex- American player in the NFL who played for the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins. He played in the NCAA football tournament on Alabama’s University of Alabama.

The year 1995 was his best, as he played 15 games and made 72 tackles (tied for the sixth spot for the squad) two interceptions, and 13 passes defended as well as one recovery of a fumble. He was injured in one game due to a his toe breaking.

Teague was chosen from The Green Bay Packers in the first round (29th overall) of the 1993 NFL Draft. He played his last 12 games at safety, registering 36 tackles, six passes that were blocked and forced fumbles, two Fumble recovery and 5 special team tackles. In the playoffs, against Detroit Lions Detroit Lions, he recorded the longest interception return to the post-season record of a touchdown (101 yards) in addition to his four tackles, he was awarded an NFL Defensive player of the week award.

On August 23, 1996, Teague was signed as a free agent by the Dallas Cowboys. He played as a nickel defensive back, before starting 8 games after Brock Marion suffered broken a shoulder blade. He finished the year with 70 tackles, 7 passes defensed, 6 special teams tackles and a career-high 4 interceptions.
