Fernando Prass is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on July 9, 1978 in Viamão, Brazil. Fernando Buttenbender Prass (born 9 July 1978 in Porto Alegre) is a Brazilian professional footballer, who is goalkeeper for the Brazilian club Ceara.
After playing in 14 games to aid Uniao get back to the top of the table in 2009, the 31-year-old Prass returned to Brazil and joined CR Vasco da Gama, playing in the Serie B for the first time in the 110 years of football history. As the first choice, he assisted his Rio de Janeiro side finish as champions, and also get promoted with the top defense in the league.
On 29 June 2016, aged nearly 38 and having never earned any cap for the full side, Prass was selected by the Brazilian national team for the 2016 Summer Olympics by manager Rogério Micale, as one of three overage players. On 31 July, however, he left the squad due to an elbow injury and was replaced by Weverton.
On 3 April 2016, Prass saved Lucca’s penalty in a 1–0 home win over Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, the Alviverde’ s first win over their rival at Pacaembú Stadium, for nearly 21 years.
For the season 2006-07 Prass was only absent for two league games , as Leiria placed seventh as well as qualifying for UEFA Intertoto Cup, eventually becoming one of the tournament’s winners. He also played on the UEFA Cup, being ousted by Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the first round (4-5 in aggregate). In the subsequent season The team was dropped to the second division.

After beginning his professional career with the local Gremio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, Prass joined Associacao Atletica Francana in 2000 and was transferred after four months to a different modest team, Vila Nova Futebol Clube. In 2002, he was signed by Coritiba Foot Ball Club, and played for four seasons at the club.
Then, Prass moved abroad and joined Portugal’s U.D. Leiria as a his compatriot Helton was leaving in order to sign with FC Porto in the Primeira Liga. Leiria made his debut in the league on September 11, 2005, with a 0-0 home draw against C.S. Maritimo and was given first-choice status from that point until the end of the season.
On 10 December 2012, Prass left Vasco and joined Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, freshly relegated to the second level. He helped them return to the top flight at the first attempt.
