His coaching experience has been long-running and in 2010, he was the chief coach for the Kuwait senior men’s team. He has held numerous head coaching positions both at the junior and senior levels, Internationally and on the club scene. His achievements thus to date are: Kuwait Coach of the Year 2007-2008-2009-2010-2010-2011-2010-2011-2010-2011 as well as the Head Coach in 2010 for his Gulf Championship winning Kuwait Youth National Team Head Coach of numerous Championship successful junior club teams in Bahrain. He is a well-known coach throughout his home region of the Persian Gulf region. In 2011, he became one of the few Kuwaiti basketball coach to work outside of Kuwait after he was recruited to coach by Al-Ahli Club (Manama). In July of 2018 in July 2018, Coach Faisal has signed a contract with the team that has just joined the basketball league of Kuwait Al-Qurain SC to be the head coach for the team during the season 2018-2019.
