Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on August 8, 1950 in Pulivendula, Andhra Pradesh, India. Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy (8 August 1950 15 March 2019,) was one of the members in the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He was a member of the Kadapa constituency in Andhra Pradesh. He was a part of the Indian National Congress. His election as a member of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from the Kadapa constituency located in Andhra Pradesh. He was brutally murdered at his home at Pulivendula, Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh in March 2019. The incident took a turn for the political after which YS Jaganmohan Reddy as well as YSR Congress Party blamed the Telugu Desam Party. TDP also denied YS Jagan for forming a the murder conspiracy and demanding CBI inquiry and not being concerned about investigating his uncle’s murder investigation following the formation of his own government within Andhra Pradesh after 2019 General Elections.

But, Viveka’s wife Sowbhagyamma and daughter Sunitha and ex- TDP Minister C Adinarayana Reddy and TDP lawmaker BTech Ravi had filed separate petitions with the Hight court of Andhra asking that the murder investigation be transferred by the CBI. In the case of Dr. N.Sunitha Reddy and her husband N.Rajasekhar Reddy also provided an estimated 12 suspects, including Kadapa MP Y. S. Avinash Reddy and his father YS Bhasker on the scene, who were suspected of being involved in her father’s murder case. The two also doubted the wisdom of the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohanreddy for not turning over the investigation to CBI in the manner he stated earlier. She said that SIT is not able to provide any evidence and that only the CBI investigation could uncover all the details. She stated she was convinced Avinash Reddy had been putting pressure on Shankar Reddy for personal reasons. The petitioning couple claimed D.Siva Sankar Reddy was the YSRC Party state general secretary and was a close friend of both Bhaskar Reddy and Avinash Reddy. Bhaskar Reddy as well as Mr Avinash Reddy. The petition also said that Siva Sankar Reddy had prior criminal convictions in the past. She also said that her father dissatisfied with him on many occasions, and was the reason for her father’s losing the MLC Elections in 2016 .

On Thursday night he was alone at his residence in Pulivendula. Two days before the murder, he was seen at YS Jagan mohan Reddy residence at Hyderabad. YSR Congress expressed distrust of the SIT formed by the Telugu Desam Party Government and asked for the CBI to investigate the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy. A prime suspect of the Vivekanada Reddy Murder case, Srinivasulu Reddy, killed himself and alleged he was harassed by the police with false allegations on him Sep 2019 by taking sleeping pills.

As per preliminary conclusions of the Post-mortem reports YS Vivekananda Reddy has been brutally murdered and found at his residence in Kadapa on 15 March

2019. The murder took place few weeks before the General Elections 2019 in The state of Andhra. As per Forensic Report, he was stabbed to death. The coroner’s report says that there were seven stab wounds on his body made by a sharp object.

In the year 2011, Vivekananda Reddy contested the Pulivendula by-elections that were triggered by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his mother, Y. S. Vijayamma who left the INC to create the YSR Congress. Vivekananda Reddy was the INC contestant against the sister-in law and was able to get his money after finishing second place, but a few 80.000 votes behind Y. S. Vijayamma. His sister-in-law party YSRCP has requested an CBI inquiry into the matter.
