Eric Angle (born August 8, 1967) is an American former amateur and professional wrestler, better known to be the older brother of professional wrestler Kurt Angle with whom he worked in occasional storylines in World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/WWE).

Then, in August of 2003 Angle began wrestling again in an locally-based Pittsburgh independent promotion called the International Wrestling Cartel (IWC). He wrestled for the organization on three occasions. He was injured during his final bout for the promotion, and after his recovery, he decided to stop wrestling.

In September of 2019, Angle was indicted for distributing anabolic steroids.

In March 2019 he was arrested for assault after video surfaced showing him choking and tossing a twelve-year-old boy by the neck at a wrestling tournament.

Following these two appearances, the WWF was able to commit Angle to a developmental deal and sent him into Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) to improve his skills. In his time at OVW He ruptured an arm ligament and underwent nine surgeries in order to fix the biceps problem. He was back at OVW in the month of October 2002, and was a wrestler on a couple of their TV tapings.

He then appeared on an episode of SmackDown! the following week at his brother’s side and was attacked by Lesnar. This was the last time Angle was seen in WWE as he was released from his developmental contract in 2003.
