Dorian Boccolacci (born 9 September 1998 in Cannes) is a French racing driver who participated with the FIA Formula 2 Championship until after the French round at Circuit Paul Ricard this year which saw him substituted with Arjun Maini.
In November of 2016, Boccolacci made his GP3 debut during the post-season testing held at Yas Marina with Arden International and DAMS. In March of 2017, Boccolacci joined Trident Racing to test in preparation for the 2017 season. He was signed on to race with this team on May 2017 which saw him take home the race win and placed sixth place in the championship. Boccolacci returned to the team for the following season but switched to brand new team MP Motorsport.
On 22 August 2018 Roberto Merhi left the FIA Formula 2 Championship, as MP Motorsport promoted the French driver for the next round at Spa-Francorchamps. In the GP3 Series, Richard Verschoor replaced him at the team. Later, Merhi joined the Campos Racing team for the Sochi round, replacing Roy Nissany.
In March 2018, Boccolacci was named as one of eight drivers to be signed to the Venturi Formula E team’s new Next Gen Programme.
The year 2015 saw Boccolacci changed his focus to European Formula 3 and raced with Signature during this season. Contrary to his time in F4 French, Boccolacci only finished twelfth in the rookie championship, and 19th overall.
