Diana van Berlo (born January 6 1966, in Helmond, Netherlands) is a Dutch pop female singer from the Netherlands. She was part in the group girl Luv’ from 1989 to 1992. She had the female group the group a Dutch as well as a Flemish Top 30 hit with the hit single “Welcome to my Party” and a second minor hit track “He’s My Guy”. After Luv’ had broken up at the end of 1992, She joined with Carina Lemoine to form the short-lived girl-duo Lady’s D.C. In recent times she has performed as an accompanying singer and has performed at dinner parties.

In 1991 The album Sincerely Yours (including the minor hit single “He’s My Guy”) was released, but it didn’t make the charts for the first time in all.Though the group’s second album wasn’t as popular as the first one they did tour extensively clubs and frequently appeared on television (they were even featured in an episode (“Luv” at Thailand”) during the year 1991). Their busy schedule also included a special show in Dubai to help the Dutch troops in their participation in the Gulf War.

The Luv’ group has released an EP called For You which was primarily supervised by English producer Nigel Wright. The dance-pop tracks on the album were influenced by the sounds from PWL (Kylie Minogue ), Mel & Kim, Bananarama or Rick Astley …). Four tracks were culled from the EP and made available as singles (among these was “Welcome to my Party” which was one of the Top 30 hit in the Netherlands and Flanders (Belgium). Diana’s first live performance with Luv’ was held at the club (Four roses) located in Hilversum and featured specially invited guest performers (including John de Mol) on September 10th 1989. After that, Diana and her colleagues were involved in different Dutch group of girls (Frizzle Sizzle Mai Tai …) in the All Stars project to help Third World children with the single “Star Maker”.

They rapidly ended their professional relationship. Then Diana went solo. She later became a backing vocalist for other Dutch acts. She has recently taken part in “4 acts”, a music and comedy show. In 2009, she is involved in a dinner show “Theater Op Het Water” in Rotterdam on a boat (“De Ameland”) on the Meuse. In addition to her artistic activities, she currently works in Helmond at Fashionwheels, a warehousing and distribution company dedicated to the fashion industry.
