Dion Knelsen is one of the most popular and richest Canadian-Ice Hockey Player who was born on January 4, 1989 in High Level, Alberta, Canada. His brother Brandon (born on the 24th of July 1987) was a player during the ECHL with the Idaho Steelheads during the 2009-10 ECHL season.
In April of 2013 the player returned for a second time in his team, the Sparta Warriors. He played for the next three years playing for the team and was a major force in scoring, with his highest production coming in the 2015-16 season, when he scored a league-leading 34 goals in just 50 games. The quality of his scoring attracted the attention of teams from across Europe and Knelsen finally signed a deal with Swiss NLB team SC Rapperswil Jona Lakers in April of 2016.
Knelsen was transferred into Sweden to begin his third time in Europe and joined HockeyAllsvenskan side Mora IK, where he was a part of the 2011-12 season scoring 17 goals and 19 assists across 51 games. He was transferred to the his fellow HockeyAllsvenskan team Asploven HC prior to the 2012-13 season.

Dion Knelsen (born January 4 1989) is a Canadian professional hockey player currently playing for EHC Olten from the Swiss League (SL).
Knelsen was a student at his time at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks from 2006 until 2010, and made the transition to professional in March 2010after contracting with the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League (AHL) which then transferred his player on their ECHL affiliate known as known as the Alaska Aces. After playing his first game as an official ice hockey player with the ECHL, Knelsen opted to move towards Norway to play in the 2011-11 seasons and landed an opportunity as a player with the Sparta Warriors. He immediately proved his scoring skills in Norway with the score of 31 goals (plus 39 assists) during 59 games in his quest to win the championship.
