Dennis Moran is one of the most popular and richest Rugby League Player who was born on January 22, 1977 in Australia. Dennis Moran, born 22 January 1977, is an Australian former professional rugby league player who was a player in the 1990s and the 2000s. He was part of the National Rugby League for the Parramatta Eels club and in the Super League for the London Broncos as well as Wigan Warriors. Wigan Warriors clubs, usually in the halves.
Moran joined Wigan Warriors on a two-year contract with London Broncos in November 2004. Moran took over Wigan’s Papua New Guinea player Adrian Lam who had retired at conclusion in 2004’s Super League IX. Moran was part of four seasons with the Broncos playing in 113 games and scoring 75 scores. Moran was top of his place on the Super League try scoring tables in 2002 and 2003. He was the Broncos leading scorer in the year 2004 when he scored 19. Moran was let go in the wake of Wigan Rugby League Club on 25 May 2006, and taken over with Michael Dobson. The next day, Moran was signed by the Widnes Vikings in an effort to assist them in getting their season back in the right direction.
Since retiring from playing Moran has followed many other former professional players into the coaching ranks. His current roles (2012) include being the head coach of the women’s indigenous NRL All Stars team who play as a curtain raiser before the men’s All Stars take to the field.
Moran made his National Rugby League début for the Parramatta Eels during the 1998 NRL season, eventually making 35 appearances for the club including the 18-16 1999 preliminary final defeat against Melbourne after Parramatta were winning 16-0 at halftime.
According to Widnes World newspaper, Moran told the Widnes World that “I’ve come here to try and help out as much as I can to get this club back into Super League.” He was chosen for his 2006 National League One Dream Team. Moran was an absolute star, in 2007 with Widnes in 2007 receiving his first National League One player of the year award.
