Then, he was to become the head coach for Kassel Huskies. Kassel Huskies in Germany, however the team was disbanded before the beginning of the season 2010-11. In January of 2011, Fedorchuk took over head coaching duties for Straubing Tigers of the German elite league Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) throughout the season. He replaced Jurgen Rumrich, who was dismissed.

From 2011 to 2013, he worked for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL) as a scout. In June 2013, Fedorchuk was named assistant coach of KHL Medveščak Zagreb of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He remained in that job until the end of the 2014-15 season.

In June 2017, he was named assistant coach to Mark French at HC Fribourg- Gottéron in the Swiss top flight National League.

After stints with two other German second-division teams, Heilbronner EC and SC Bietingheim-Bissingen, Fedorchuk took his game to Denmark in 2001. He played five seasons playing with SonderjyskE Ishockey and another two with the Odense Bulldogs. Fedorchuk was the top scorer in this Danish league in goals scored during the 2002-03 and 2006-07 seasons. He was also named the MVP of the playoffs of 2006 leading to his first Danish title with SonderjyskE. He referred to it as an end to his career following the season 2007/08.

Following his time with the Winnipeg South Blues in the MJHL, Fedorchuk enrolled at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1990. Through his four-year stint with the Nanooks He was the team captain during in his junior, sophomore and senior seasons. The team left on the 14th of April 1994, as the most prolific goal scorer of the team’s history and second-highest in the number of points he scored in his career. Fedorchuk played 144 games with Alaska- Fairbanks scoring scores of 113 goals and 101 assists. He was selected as a member of the All-America First Team his senior year. In 2014 the year he was admitted into the Nanook Hall of Fame.

He made his professional debut in 1994 and spent the majority of his time playing in Europe. In 1994 and 1995, he play with the Kalamazoo Wings of the IHL as well as the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL. The year 1995 saw Fedorchuk was signed on for a 5 year stay with the German second division squad EHC Neuwied, where he continued to score goals. In 1995-96 and 1997-98, Fedorchuk was the league’s top scorer in goals scored, as well as helping Neuwied win back-to- back championships in 96 and 1997. For his work and dedication to the club, he was awarded two. Bundesliga The Player of the Year awards during the 95-96 season. The most impressive season he had in Germany was in 1996-97 which saw him score 50 assists and 47 goals across 56 games.

After retiring as a player, Fedorchuk was immediately named head coach of the Odense Bulldogs of the Danish top-flight. He led the Bulldogs to a Danish Cup title as a first-year head coach. In January 2010, Fedorchuk was removed from the head coaching position after a run of bad results.
