David Wakikona Biography

David Wakikona is one of the most popular and richest Aircraft Pilot who was born on November 26, 1950 in Uganda. His birthplace was in Bududa District on 26 November 1950. He was born in 1971. was granted commercial pilot’s license through the East African Civil Aviation Authority which was later based at Soroti Airport. He received his Diploma of Flight Operation by CASI located in Beirut. In the following year, he was awarded the Diploma in Government Operations from the same institution. In 1995 the International Aviation Management Training Institute in Canada presented him with an award of the Diploma for Aviation Management. He earned his Bachelor degree in Arts of Aviation in the University of Western Sydney in Australia. In 2007, he received an honorary degree, Bachelor of Arts in the field of Public Administration & Management from Nkumba University.

Wakikona was divorced in the year 2017. He is a member of the National Resistance Movement political party. According to reports, he has a an interest in the current events as well as soccer.

In the lead-up for the General Election, Wakikona was defeated by John Baptist Nambeshe in the National Resistance Movement primary for Manjiya County, and consequently He did not participate in the elections. Following the election, June 2016, Wakikona was appointed State Minister of Trade in the hands of Michael Werikhe Kafabusa.
