David Kolomatis (born February 25 1989) is an American professional Ice hockey player who is currently a non-restricted free agent. He has most recently contracted with the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL. The team originally picked him for the Los Angeles Kings in the 5th round (126th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
The offseason was when Kolomatis chose to go back to the club for his sixth season in Manchester after signing an extension of one year on the 17th of August in 2016.
The following season, he returned in the Los Angeles Kings affiliation, signing a one-year contract with the newly-reborn ECHL affiliate named Manchester Monarchs. Manchester Monarchs on October 2 in 2015. Kolomatis played for the Monarchs in the 2015-16 campaign scoring 17 points over 35 games, before being transferred to an AHL club The Toronto Marlies. Kolomatis was then signed to remain for the rest of the season for the Marlies playing on 23 occasions.

Kolomatis played for four seasons in his Los Angeles Kings AHL affiliate The Manchester Monarchs before leaving as an unrestricted free agent to sign a one-year two-way deal for the Washington Capitals on July 5 2013, 2013. In his first season in the Capitals team in 2013-14, Kolomatis was assigned to an AHL affiliate The Hershey Bears in scoring 30 points in 61 games.
