In his rookie year Stubbs was a positional pass rusher who was behind Kevin Fagan and Larry Roberts. He was credited with 25 tackles, six sacks, and one pass defensed and was selected on the NFL All-Rookie team.

Daniel Stubbs, II (born on January 3, 1965) is an ex- American football defensive lineman with the National Football League for the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, and Miami Dolphins. He played in the NCAA football tournament on Miami’s University of Miami.
