His first role was in the 1991 teen drama series, Fifteen, filmed in Vancouver. His performance as Dylan received a nomination for Best Actor at the Youth in Film Awards. He has also appeared on several television series including Tru Calling, Intelligence, The Vampire Diaries, and Supernatural.
