Christopher Heighington (born 14 January 1982) was an ex-professional rugby league footballer. A former English national, Country New South Wales and NRL All Stars representative, his roles included the second-row lock, prop and lock. He was a player with both the Wests Tigers and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks which won the premiership with each before concluding his career with Newcastle Knights.

Heighington received the award to be Wests Tigers’ Player of the Year in 2008. He was chosen to participate in his 2008 Country Origin side as well as the Prime Minister’s XIII squad that visited Papua New Guinea. He was invited to the Prime Minister’s XIII for wounded Luke Lewis.

An Umina Junior Bunnies player, Heighington made his debut for Wests Tigers in 2003. He later added, “To be honest, I couldn’t believe I was making my debut. It was a great experience. It came so quickly.
