Carson Franklin Kelly, born July 14, 1994, is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB). From 2016 to 2018, he was a MLB catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals.

On September 4, 2016, the Cardinals bought Kelly’s contract and promoted him to the major leagues. He slugged.289/.343/.395 in 96 games between Springfield, Memphis and before his call up. He also had six home runs and 32 RBIs. On September 5, he made his major league debut at Pittsburgh. He hit a line drive double in the eighth inning and scored his first run. The Cardinals designated Kelly to the Glendale Desert Dogs (AFL) after the season. Kelly was also named Minor League Player of Year by the Cardinals in 2016.

He compiled a.219 average, eight home runs, and 51 RBIs over 108 games. He was awarded the 2015 minor league Rawlings Gold Glove Award to catchers and was ranked as the tenth best prospect in the Cardinals system before the 2016 season, according to Baseball America.
