Iorg started his professional career in 2007 playing eight games for the Gulf Coast Tigers as well as the Lakeland Flying Tigers. To improve his hitting, the Tigers sent Iorg to Hawaii Winter Baseball with the North Shore Honu. In mid-October, he hurt his hamstring and ended his winter season.
