Charles James “Buddy” Robinson III, an American professional ice hockey player, was born September 30, 1991. He is currently playing for the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League (AHL), while being contracted to the Calgary Flames (NHL).

Robinson signed a two-way, one-year deal with the Winnipeg Jets on July 1, 2017. Robinson, who played 74 games for the Jets’ AHL affiliate in Winnipeg, the Manitoba Moose during the 2017-18 season, finished third in scoring with 25 goals, 28 assists, and 53 points.

Robinson returned to the NHL with the Flames on January 28, 2020 in Calgary against the St. Louis Blues.

Robinson, who was playing mostly in AHL with the Senators affiliate the Binghamton Senators but also played three games with NHL Ottawa Senators in April 2016, when he scored his first NHL goal in a win 3-1 over the Florida Panthers. He also added an assist in the third game and ended with 1 goal, 1 assist and +2 in those three matches.
