Bryan Lerg is one of the most popular and richest Ice Hockey Player who was born on January 20, 1986 in Livonia, Michigan, United States. Bryan Lerg (born January 20 in 1986) was an American professional ice hockey player with the National Hockey League (NHL) with the San Jose Sharks.

After the first Oilers Training camp Lerg received a transfer to the Falcons for in the 2009-09 campaign. Despite the injury, Lerg scored 17 points in 42 games for the Falcons as well as playing with the ECHL with the Stockton Thunder. The next year, Lerg suffered another injury and, with a drop in performance, struggled to secure his spot in his place in the Oilers farm team. He scored 7 points in 36 games.

Unable to earn another contract with the Oilers, and with a lack of NHL interest, Lerg signed a try-out contract with Swiss team, Genève-Servette HC, of the Nationalliga A. Appearing in just a single game for Genève-Servette in the 2010–11 season, he returned to North America and the AHL, signing a one- year contract with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on December 8, 2010. Lerg made an immediate contribution with the Penguins and posted 32 points in 65 games to earn a one-year contract extension on July 13, 2011.

Prior to the 2011–12 season with Wilkes-Barre, Lerg was invited and attended the Pittsburgh Penguins training camp. After he was returned to their affiliate, Lerg produced a team leading and career high 27 goals to finish second on the team with 53 points.

Lerg was able to make his NHL debut following a period of seven year with the American Hockey League (AHL). Lerg played in the NCAA hockey tournament at Michigan State University where he played a key role in helping the Spartans to win the national championship in 2007.

In his youth, Lerg played in the 2000 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as part of his Detroit Honeybaked minor ice hockey team.

Undrafted, as similar to his brother Jeff, Lerg was of smaller proportions when he was a junior. A good checker, who played a tough sport, with a gritty and tough style despite his petite stature. In his decision to play in the collegiate game during his first season as a member of the Michigan State Spartans, Lerg earned fifteen points (10 goals and 5 assists). At the end of the end of his Sophomore year, Lerg scored 38 points (15 goals and 23 assists) and during his junior year, he earned the title of alternate captain and had 36 points (23 goals and 13 assists) and led the Spartans to the national championship and scoring 8 game-winning goals and led the NCAA. He was named as captain for the Spartans through a team vote during the 2007-08 season, and scored 39 points (20 goals 19 assists) to win the title of Spartans offensive Player of the Year the second time.

At the conclusion of his collegiate career, Lerg was signed to a two-year entry level contract with the Edmonton Oilers on April 1, 2008. He immediately made his professional debut at the end of the 2007–08 season with affiliate, the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
