Brooke Pratley (born 6 April 1980 in Goulburn, New South Wales) is an Australian former rower. Pratley is an Australian national champion as well as a world champion. She was and a double Olympian as well as an Olympic medallist. Along with Kim Crow, she won silver in the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

In 2007 for the World Rowing Championships Pratley was selected to compete in at the Australian quad scull alongside Amy Ives, Catriona Sens and Sonia Mills. They were fourth at Munich 2007. In the Olympic year of 2008 Pratley was in contention for the sweep-oared boats. She was chosen to be part of the Australian women’s eight team for this year’s World Rowing Cup II of 2008 in Lucerne and later was placed in the two seats in the female eight in Beijing 2008. They finished in sixth place.

In 2010 Pratley moved back into sculls. At the 2010 World Rowing Championships in Lake Karapiro she raced in the Australian quad scull with Sally Kehoe, Kerry Hore and Kim Crow to a fourth placing. Hore & Crow moved into a double scull in 2011 and Amy Clay & Sarah Cook were added to the quad. They raced at the World Rowing Cup III in Lucerne and then at the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Eton Dorney where they finished fourth. In the Olympic year 2012 Kerry Hore was moved back into the quad and Pratley was given the opportunity to race the Australian women’s double scull with Australia’s prominent sculler Kim Crow. They raced in the lead-up at the World Rowing Cup III in Munich and then at the 2012 London Olympics they won their heat and raced to a silver medal in the final beaten out by the British double of Anna Watkins and Katherine Grainger. It was Pratley’s last Australian representative appearance.

Pratley officially announced her retirement from competitive rowing immediately after winning a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics 2012 on 6 August 2012. As of 2018 she practices as a sports physiotherapist in Queensland.

Then, in Sydney University colours she contested Australian national titles at the Australian Rowing Championships on several occasions. Between 2006 and 2007,, she competed in the three sculling vessels – the single, quad and double and was also seated at the six position in the New South Wales composite eights. She took home her first Australian national title in the quad scull race in the year 2006. In 2008, she raced with the quad both in the pair, and in a mixed Australian selection eight, which took home the women’s open eight national championship.
