Brandon Michael Kirsch (born October 13th in 1983) was a former American football player. He played for the college team in the NCAA Division at Purdue University, where he decided to skip his senior year to participate in his first NFL Draft. Kirsh was a player in The Colorado Crush and Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League (AFL).

He was not selected in the NFL and was signed by the AFL’s Colorado Crush. The team played for two seasons, Crush, (2007-08) where he played in all four games, making 12-of-21 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns.

Kirsch signed with the Reading Express of the Indoor Football League (IFL) for the 2012 season, but never played for the Express.

Kirsch was a student at Cedar Crest High School in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, where Kirsch was named first-team all-state, second team all-county, and the league’s Most Valuable Player as senior after completing 115 of his 198 passes (58.0 percent) for 1,950 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also ran for 515 yards over the ground on 88 plays (5.9 per cent)) and scored two touchdowns. Brandon was named second-team all-county in both in his sophomore and junior seasons, and earned honorable mention all-state in junior. Brandon completed 104 of his 186 pass attempts (55.9 per cent) for 1,595 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior, and more than 78 of 162 passes (48.1 percentage) for 1,178 yards and 14 touchdowns as a sophomore. The totals for his career included 300 of 552 passes (54.3 percentage) for 4,808 yards and 61 scores with 241 rushing attempts to 1142 yards (4.7 average) and 10 touchdowns. The coach at his high school was Gene Fuhrman. He also played basketball and baseball. In September of 2001 He signed a statement of intent to be a the position of quarterback in the football team at Purdue University. He was rated a 4-star prospect, according to Rivals.com.

Kirsch played in four games in 2002, as an actual freshman finishing 59.0 percent of his throws. He threw for 1,067 yards, with 5 interceptions and 8 touchdowns. Kirsch was second on team with 423 yards. Kirsch was only in three games during his sophomore season (all as an inactive) prior to injuring his throwing shoulder and obtaining the medical redshirt. Kirsch returned in 2004 to the team and played in six games and threw for 1,625 yards, with seven touchdowns and 7 interceptions during the game, but was substituted for rookie Curtis Painter. After the benching, Kirsch caused a controversy within the team, and was subsequently disregarded with teammates and fans. Kirsch did not want to return to the school during his senior year after declaring himself eligible to be a candidate for an entry into the NFL Draft.

On May 20, 2011, the Philadelphia Soul signed Kirsch to fill in for Justin Allgood, who was traded to the Tulsa Talons. On June 19, 2011, it was announced that he would start in place of the struggling Ryan Vena.
