Benjamin Kipkoech Limo (born 23 August 1974 in Chepkongony, Uasin Gishu) is a Kenyan former middle as well as long distance runner. His distances ranged from 1500 m up to 10,000 m, however, Limo predominantly was a 5000-meter runner and has been awarded international medals.
Limo was named with the 2004 Kenyan Sportsman of the Year award in 2005. He is overseen by Ricky Simms.
The year 2002 was the time that Limo was awarded silver at both the Commonwealth Games and at the African Championships. In August 2005 , he beat Sileshi Sihine to become world champion. He was awarded bronze in the 5000m race at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Limo attended Chebara as well as Lelboinet High Schools, but joined his unit in the Kenyan Army in 1993, not having completed his studies. The first time he was fully trained was in 1996 and was stationed on an army base located in Ngong close to the Nairobi’s capital Nairobi. He took part in his first race outside of Kenya in 1998 at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Marrakech, Morocco and finished fourth in the sprint race.
His first international medals in 1999. Limo was the winner of his first World Cross Country Championships and finished second in the 5,000m race during the World Championships, less than one second behind the winner Salah Hissou. The silver medal he won in the 5000 m won in less than 13 months from the time Limo ran his first race of that distance.
He made his marathon debut in October 2008 finishing 12th at the Amsterdam Marathon.
