Borodulin’s debut senior ISU Championship was the 2009 Europeans in Helsinki, Finland. He was 13th in the final after placing 15th during the program short, and 12th in the free skating.
Borodulin took the bronze medal during Vienna while he also won gold in Sofia at the end of his 2007 JGP season. He fractured his right ankle during a workout in November 2007 before returning to the ice in January 2008. In 2008, at the World Junior Championships in Sofia the Bulgarian athlete was second in both sections and received the silver medal, which was won by Adam Rippon.

Artem Igorevich Borrodulin (Russian: Artiom Igorevich Borodulin born on 9 March 1989) is a Russian former figure skater in competitive competition. He was an 2007 World Junior silver medalist and participated in the 2010 Winter Olympics, finishing 13th.
Artem Borodulin began skating at age 5. Artem Borodulin began his ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) debut in 2005. In the spring of 2006, he moved his home from Perm in Russia to Moscow. He took home two silver medals during his 2006 JGP series. He placed 7th at the 2007 World Junior Championships in Oberstdorf after finishing 8th on the short-program, and 7th in the free skating.
He represented Russia at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Ranked 13th in the short and 12th in the free, he finished 13th overall. He was also sent to the 2010 World Championships in Turin but his skate blade broke as he competed in the short program, forcing his withdrawal. The likelihood of such an event is 1 in 10,000.
