Ann Patrice McDonough (born May 29 1985) is an American former figure skater in competitive competition. McDonough was her 2002 World Junior champion and the 2003 U.S. national pewter medalist. McDonough was able to retire from competition in 2004.
The season 2000-2001 was when McDonough was the first to make her appearance at the ISU Junior Grand Prix. McDonough won bronze at her first event , and the silver at her subsequent event which allowed her to qualify to compete in to compete in the Junior Grand Prix Final. McDonough won in the Junior Grand Prix Final. McDonough made her national debut as a senior in the year 2001 U.S. Championships and placed 7th. McDonough then went to her first 2001 World Junior Championships, which she won the silver medal.
In the 2002–03 season, McDonough won the silver medal at the 2002 Skate America. She withdrew from 2002 Cup of Russia due to visa problems. McDonough won the pewter medal (4th place) at the 2003 U.S. Championships. She was assigned to the 2003 Four Continents, where she placed 4th.
She graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School in 2002, at age 16.
In 1998-99, McDonough won both her sectional and regional championships to be able to compete in her place at the 1999 U.S. Championships, where she was 6th at the junior team. McDonough remained Junior during the 1999-2000 season and was able to win the Junior national title at the 2000 U.S. Championships. This win brought her an invitation to compete in the Gardena Spring Trophy, which she took home.
