His stories have been translated into many languages and included in anthologies in Macedonia (Croatia Slovenia, Ukraine; Serbia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bulgaria), Sri Lanka, Kosovo, and other countries. Dalkey Archive Press published his short story “When the glasses go missing” in Best European Fiction 2013.
In 2003, he received his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Philology Blaze Koneski in Skopje. He has presented his master’s thesis, “Aspects in microfiction in the American literature and Macedonian literature”, in 2009 as the first international longer-term study on the topic of microfiction.
In September 2008 was published the third novel of Zarko Kujundziski, Found and Lost, which actually comprises two detached stories written in two distinct styles, linked by the same event.
He is the editor of the 2010s I have a Dream book anthology, the first Macedonian anthology of the greatest speeches at all times from the world and Macedonia.
Kujundziski is part of the youngest generation in Macedonia. He is the author of the books Spectator (2003) and America (novel 2006), Andrew, love and disasters (three plays in 2004), Found and Lost (1908), 13 (collection short stories, 2010), My Susan again (poetry 2010, 2010), and The shortest and longest (study 2012).
