Aikawa announced her retirement from professional wrestling on December 18. Aikawa revealed that she had considered retiring throughout the year. She felt that professional wrestling was becoming too difficult on her nearly thirty- year old body. However, she decided to keep going until Stardom’s biggest event in Ryogoku Kugikan. Aikawa was granted her chance at the World of Stardom Championship on December 24. She had won the 5Star GP but could not defeat Nanae Takahashi, the defending champion. Aikawa was then confronted by Kairi, her Zenryoku Joshi stablemate, and challenged to a match in the Wonder of Stardom Championship. Aikawa signed contracts with Hojo to make the title match official. Aikawa then announced that the match would also be the final match for the Zenryoku Joshi stable. Aikawa defeated Hojo on January 14 to win her sixth defense of the Wonder of Stardom Championship. Aikawa, Hiroyo Matsumoto, and Kairi Hjo fought in what was supposed to be her last match in her home prefecture. They defeated Eri Susa and Miho Wakizawa in Matsuyama, Ehime. Aikawa and Sanshiro Takagi teamed up with Aikawa in what was to be her last return to DDT Pro-Wrestling. They were defeated by Danshoku dino and Yoshiko. She requested one last DDT match with Dino and Yoshiko, but that was after she had been defeated by Danshoku Dino. Aikawa defeated Natsumi Showzuki in her seventh defense of the Wonder of Stardom Championship on February 10. Aikawa lost her final match against veteran wrestler Meiko Saatomura at Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall on March 17. Aikawa’s final appearance outside Stardom was on March 27 when she and Sanshiro Takigi defeated Danshoku Dino, Yoshiko, Jaiko Ishikawa, and Kota Ibushi in a 53-minute DDT street wrestling match at Hanayashiki amusement parks. Aikawa defeated Act Yasukawa on March 31 to win her eighth and last successful defense of Wonder of Stardom Championship. Aikawa resigned the title two days later at a press conference where the card was revealed for the Ryogoku Kugikan event. Aikawa participated in a special gauntlet, in which she faced all Stardom wrestlers as well as Syuri surprise entrant. Aikawa won four matches and lost the last match against Yuhi in a one-minute time limit draw. Twelve of the twelve matches were concluded. Aikawa also participated in Stardom Mask Fiesta that day. She teamed up with Iotica, Io Shirai and Mil Mascaras to make her last appearance as Yuzupon Mask. They competed in a six-person tag event. Aikawa fought her retirement match at Ryogoku Cinderella on April 29th, where she was defeated in defeat by Yoshiko.

On April 26, 2014, Aikawa returned to Stardom during the 2014 Stardom Mask Fiesta. She refereed a match in her Yuzupon Mask character, helping Mini Iotica win a four-way match.

Aikawa was the main eventant at Bull Nakano’s retirement show. She defeated Ice Ribbon promotion’s ICEx60, and International Ribbon Tag Team Champion Hikaru Schida in a non title Double Champion vs. Match between Double Champion. Kairi Hojo, Saki Kashima and Bito joined Aikawa to form Zenryoku Joshi. Io Shirai, an old rival, formed the Planet stable along with Arisa Hishiki, Mayu Iwatani, and Natsumi Shozuki. This created a rivalry between both groups. Aikawa and Bito defeated Shirai, Hoshiki, and Iwatani in the first match between Zenryoku Joshi & Planet on February 11. Bito then defeated Iwatani. Aikawa defeated Miho Wakizawa to defend the Wonder of Stardom Championship on February 26. Aikawa, Bito and Yoshiko won their first defense of Goddess of Stardom Championship on March 20. Aikawa promoted her sixth Yuzupon Matsuri, which was held in Niihama’s hometown of Niihama. Kairi Hojo joined Aikawa to defeat Yuuri Haruka and Nanae Takahashi in the main event. Aikawa defeated Yuhi in her pro wrestling debut on April 24. Aikawa was due to defend the Wonder of Stardom Championship with her tag team partner Yokobito on May 3. However, the match was postponed after Aikawa sustained a hip injury. Aikawa was back in the ring on May 20 at Stardom’s Stardom event, where Zero1’s Yuhi joined Zero1’s promotion full-time and became an affiliate with the Zenryoku Joshi stable. Aikawa, Bito and Miho Wakizawa defeated Nanae Takahashi and Miho Wakizawa in their second defense of the Goddess of Stardom Championship on May 27. Hiroyo Matsumoto, the sixth member Zenryoku Joshi’s Zenryoku Joshi, left Nanae Gundan on June 3. Saki Kashima joined Kawakatsu-gun seven days later. In an eight-woman battle between the stables, Zenryoku Joshi lost to Kawakatsu-gun on June 24. Aikawa defeated Saki Kashima, her former stablemate, in a grudge match that was held under lumberjack rules. Aikawa defeated her tag team partner Yokobito on August 5 to defend the Wonder of Stardom Championship for the fourth time. Aikawa was able to return to DDT Pro-Wrestling on August 18 to participate in the 15th anniversary celebration in Nippon Budokan. Aikawa fought in a 13-person battle royal to win the Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship. Yoshiaki Fujiwara was sixth eliminated. Aikawa went on to win the match. Aikawa was also involved in the “Handicap Rumble Match” as Minoru Suzuki’s equalizer in their match against Sanshiro Takagi. Aikawa was eventually defeated by Suzuki with an open-hand slap. Takagi won the match. Aikawa was then entered Stardom’s 5Star GP2012 round robin tournament. She suffered only her second singles loss in her first match against Kawakatsu gun member Act Yasukawa. Aikawa quickly recovered from her loss and defeated Io Shirai (August 26) and Nanae Takahashi (September 17). Aikawa was tied with Nanae Takahashi at the top of her round-robin blocks. However, she won over Yuhi and also drew against Yoshiko. Aikawa defeated Kyoko Kmura in the finals on September 30 to win the 5Star GP. Aikawa, Bito and the Goddess of Stardom Championship were taken away on October 2. Bito was sidelined by a cervical hernia after Bito’s August Wonder of Stardom Championship match with Aikawa. Bito eventually retired from professional wrestling after the injury. Aikawa defeated Act Yasukawa in a rematch to win the Wonder of Stardom Championship on October 14. Aikawa and Zenryoku Joshi stablemate Yuhi entered the 2012 Goddesses of Stardom Tag League on October 27. The two defeated Eri Suesa and Nozomi in their first round-robin match. Aikawa, Yuhi (now collectively known as “Y Dash”) continued their tournament on November 11 with a victory over Thunder Rock (Io Shirai) and Mayu Iwatani. Aikawa, Yuhi and Yoshiko lost their final round-robin match against NatsukiTaiyo. Aikawa started her modeling career in 2003. She appeared mainly in men’s magazines and was eventually dubbed “gravure queen” of the next generation.
