Yoshie Fruchter is one of the most popular and richest American jazz guitarist who was born on February 1, 1982 in United States. Yoshie Fruchter, born February 1, 1982, is an American experimental jazz guitarist and bassist, orgue player, and composer.
Blasphemy & Other Serious Crimes was Pitom’s second album. It was released in 2011. Fruchter once again composed and played the guitar. The album explored Jewish music with surf and sludge-metal influences. The Forward selected the album as one of its 2011 Forward Fives, which is an annual list that honors five of the best Jewish music releases.
In December 2014, Fruchter released Cantorial Recordings Reimagined, an album with a new band called Schizophonia, in which he arranged Jewish cantorial recordings for a progressive rock quintet, with world music influences. Also in the band are Shanir Blumenkranz (bass), Brian Marsella (keyboards), Yonadav Halevy (drums) and Rich Stein (percussion).
Pitom was Fruchter’s first solo album as a composer and guitarist. It was released in 2008. The Wall Street Journal called it a “dazzling debut”, while JazzTimes called it “audacious.” They described it as klezmer music mixed with a punk-sense. The Hebrew word for “Suddenly” is “Pitom,” and the album’s name was inspired by his band which includes Jeremy Brown (violin), Shanir Blumenkranz, and Kevin Zubek, (drums).

Fruchter was raised in Silver Spring in Maryland in an Orthodox Jewish family. He grew up singing and playing Jewish music as a child. His father is a musician and his sister Temim was the drummer for the indie rock band The Shondes. He studied jazz at the University of Maryland and then moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2005.
Fruchter co-wrote and produced Beyond the Book in 2006 with Chaim (Harold), Fruchter. The album features songs that they co-wrote, as well as lyrics that reflect on critical moments in the lives different Biblical characters.
Fruchter is a member of Jon Madof’s 13-piece afrobeat group Zion80, playing guitar on the group’s self-titled 2013 debut. In April 2014, Zion80 released its second album, Adramelech, an interpretation of John Zorn’s Masada Book 2: The Book of Angels, on which Fruchter again played guitar.
