Spin Benz Dokan was his former name. This was due to an incident that occurred after 2001 D1GP season finales in Nikko. Sunpros had filmed a Team Drift’ segment for Drift Heaven. It involved hitting Toru Maruyama, then D1 Driver,’s daily Mercedes Benz. Later, he was known as Waku Waku Kun, or Rodeo Clown, due to his reputation for being a clown in the series.
