Moussa did not want to stay at Southend following their demotion in League Two, and on 13 August 2010, he joined with Leicester City on a two-year contract. His first strike in the game for Leicester at the 3-1 win against Scunthorpe United on 2 October 2010.

On 21 September 2012, Moussa signed a short-term contract with Coventry City and made first appearance against Arsenal in the League Cup. He scored his first goal for the Sky Blues on 17 November 2012 against Hartlepool United in a 5–0 win. On 3 January 2013, he signed an 18-month contract after impressing on his short-term deal. His first season with the Sky Blues was capped off by winning the ‘Football League Goal of the Season’ award for his solo effort against MK Dons. Moussa made his 50th appearance for the Sky Blues during the 4–0 win against Carlisle United where he scored another solo effort. Moussa’s contract ran up to 30 June 2014.

On 30 May 2012, Leicester City reached a mutual agreement with Moussa for the cancellation of his contract.

Moussa made his debut goal in professional football on February 21, 2009, against Colchester after he ran half the length of the pitch in order to hit the ball into Theo’s goal. The goal was the winner of the match in the Essex derby.

The boy was born from Brussels, Moussa is a Belgian under-18 and under-19 international. His Southend United first team debut as a 16-year-old during the closing minutes of the 3-0 victory against Colchester United on 4 March 2006, replacing Midfielder Luke Guttridge. He was part of the team which was able to see Southend be promoted to the Championship with a draw of 2-2 against Swansea City.
