He played with Sochaux, Marseille and Guingamp and Guingamp, winning the 2003-04 Coupe de la Ligue with Sochaux and the 2008-09 Coupe de France with Guingamp even though they were considered a Ligue 2 club at the time. He was a part of the Nigeria under-17 team that was the winner of at the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championships, as captain, and later scoring the tournament’s top goalscorer with six goals.
