Wacey Rabbit (born on 16th November on the 16th of November, 1986) is an Native Canadian professional ice hockey centre in the current season playing for the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL.

Rabbit was traded to the Saskatoon Blades for Kenton Dulle and a second round pick at the time of the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft.

Without an NHL offer, Rabbit left North America and secured a try-out as a free agent with Croatian team KHL Medveščak of the Erste Bank Hockey League on August 30, 2010. After only a week on trial on September 7, 2010, Rabbit was signed by Medveščak to a one-year contract with an optional second year.

Wacey played with the Florida Panthers AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage during the 2011–12 season helping them qualify for the Calder cup playoffs and beat the Chicago Wolves in the 1st round 3–2 and met with the Oklahoma City Barons by whom they were defeated 4 games to 1.

In his return to his home in WHL, Rabbit helped the 2007 Memorial Cup hosts, the Vancouver Giants, to the WHL Finals against the Medicine Hat Tigers with 20 points in 22 games however, they lost by seven points. In the following Memorial Cup, the Giants played the Tigers in their final game, and took home their CHL title.

Rabbit played as a major junior during his time in Western Hockey League (WHL). In the draft season of 2004-05, Rabbit scored the score of 67 points. He then was chosen in the 5th round and 154th overall to the Boston Bruins in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Rabbit became a professional in the his 2006-07 season for the Boston Bruins’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate known as called the Providence Bruins. However, following his moved into the ECHL on January 1, Vancouver Giants general manager Scott Bonner requested from the Boston Bruins that they send Rabbit back to juniors.

The 2007/08 season saw Rabbit came back to Providence and scored 26 points over 66 games. In the next season, he climbed to 34 points over 74 games. In the 2008-2009’s, Rabbit began to progress in terms of statistical. While he netted the equivalent of 4 penalties minutes, and scoring 16 goals between 2008 and 2009 however, he felt that he was not capable of making his team, the Boston Bruins.

In the 2009 off-season after the Bruins declined to extend a contract to Wacey, he was signed on by the Nashville Predators AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals on October 2, 2009. In the 2009–10 season, Rabbit appeared in 76 games with the Admirals, however failed to establish himself and posted a professional career low 18 points.
