He was in the month of April when he made his way back in April to Wisconsin to race the asphalt for his first event of the season He led the final 44 laps in his bid to win his Icebreaker 100 win at Dells Raceway Park. Majeski was crowned his fourth consecutive ARCA Midwest Tour at Elko Speedway with one race left to finish the season. Majeski took home his third straight Governor’s Cup in a Super Late Model at New Smyra Speedway in November ahead of Bubba Pollard, Wallace, and Burton. He was back in his first Xfinity Series at Iowa and the season’s final at Homestead-Miami. He finished 10th overall for his first top 10 finish in Xfinity competition.
Majeski was able to stay in Wisconsin and began racing Late models Wisconsin in the Pathfinder Racing Chassis / JJ Motorsports Racing as co-teammate with Ross Kenseth. He raced at a variety of tracks during the season of 2010 which included Columbus 151 Speedway, Dells Raceway Park as well as Madison International Speedway with former NASCAR Busch Series driver Jason Schuler as his crew leader. Majeski was a part of his first season on the Big 8 Late Model Series tour in the year 2011 and received the championship’ Rookie of the Year award. Majeski started racing as a nine-year-old dirt kart racer in the year 2004 on Hi-Go Raceway. His first victory came at the age of ten. In the first eight races, he won three feature races. In the end, he was racing on several tracks in his hometown GSR Kartway close to Clintonville, Wisconsin, Hi-Go Raceway in Cecil, Wisconsin and Meadowview Kartway in Hilbert, Wisconsin. Between the years 2005-2009 the track had won five titles and 84 races. At the age of was 15 He had already been awarded a national championship at the Mid-American National Series. Karting-wise, he’d achieved six championships at national level and three state championships and five track championships. As of 2009, Majeski finished second overall at the National Indoor Championship at Batesville, Mississippi; he won three of the five events that attracted the interest from Bobby Waltrip, the brother of Darrell Waltrip, as well as Michael Waltrip. The year 2009 was the time Waltrip set up Majeski to try out an early model on asphalt in Hickory Motor Speedway. After Majeski became comfortable using the automobile, he began running faster lap times than the driver. Tyler Majeski (born August 18 1994) is a American professional stock car race driver. He is currently a full-time participant on the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series and is driving the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado for Niece Motorsports. He began his racing career by racing dirt karts close to his home town in Seymour, Wisconsin. Majeski then moved to race the latest models of asphalt and later, he began racing in tour series. He was the winner in the ARCA Midwest Tour in 2014 in 2015, 2017 and 2016 while taking home the championship’s Rookie of The Year award.
Majeski was in the race four times during his participation in the LaCrosse Oktoberfest weekend; he was the winner of the late model feature in the evening of Thursday, followed by the Dick Trickle 99 on Friday night, and the JMcK 63 Big 8 Series race on Saturday night. With just 10 laps left and he was leading on the ARCA Midwest Tour race on Sunday, when the vapor lock in the car to cease to run after restarting and he was a third. Majeski drove all across United States to Florida for the Governor’s Cup at New Smyrna Speedway in November. He was placed 27th in the race after an A-arm was damaged during qualifying. After a slow start throughout the entire course, Majeski held off Steven Wallace during many restarts to claim victory. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. tweeted about Majeski’s win and called the win “the Deal”. In the Snowball Derby, Majeski qualified second fastest and won the pole position following Christopher Bell’s Kyle Busch Motorsports entry was disqualified.
He moved up to racing Super Late Models in 2012. In 2013, he raced 27 events in four different cars for four different owners. In the season, Majeski record his first ARCA Midwest Tour pole position at Marshfield Motor Speedway. On December 2, 2018, Majeski announced a return to Super Late Model racing after it was revealed that Roush Fenway Racing was in the process of closing its Xfinity program.
