Trenton Estep (born November 24 1999, in San Antonio, Texas) is an American racing driver. Estep was raised racing karts at the age of four to 5 years and was raised in New Braunfels, Texas. He was a participant in several Karting events like SKUSA Pro Tour, Florida Winter Tour, US Open and Rotax Grand Finals in Portugal. In 2016, he completed the switch from karts into open wheel vehicles. He competed in F1600 Championship Series, Canadian Formula Tour F1600, Canadian F1600 Super Series and the F1600 Championship Series winning two Championships. He also competed in the first stage of the Redbull Global Rallycross Championship in Phoenix Arizona. In 2017, Estep changed from open wheel vehicles to the North American Porsche GT3 Cup Series in conjunction with JDX Racing. Estep placed on the podium in 11 times in 16 races, with numerous wins, finishing third at the Porsche GT3 Cup Championship. In 2018, he returned to racing in the Porsche GT3 Cup series with JDX Racing with renewed sponsorship by Hertz Global along with a new sponsor Byers Porsche of Columbus Ohio.Estep finished on the Podium at 14 races out of 16, and win his first IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Championship.A last honor that capped his campaign was being selected from Porsche Motorsports to attend the Porsche Junior Programme Shootout in Le Castellet at Circuit Paul Ricard. Estep was the only one of 11 and was the youngest aged 18 among the most elite Porsche drivers across the world who were under 25 years old to be invited by Porsche Motorsports.

2017 After receiving 22 offers towards the close of 2016 to participate in various competitions including Porsche GT3 Cup, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, USF2000, Pro Mazda, US F4, Formula Atlantics, Pirelli World Challenge IMSA Lites, and F2000. After much thought Estep agreed to a deal in conjunction with JDX Racing to run in the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Series. Estep was a podium finisher in 11 of 16 races and took multiple victories, finishing 3rd in the Porsche Championship.

In 2016, the Texas racer in karts began racing open wheel vehicles. The primary focus was on the Quebec located Formula Tour F1600 and Super Series Championships. The American raced in the Honda powered Spectrum 015H which was entered through Exclusive Autosport. Estep won both Championships taking 12 out of 17 races. He also set four record-setting track records. He broke records at the F1 Canadian Grand Prix F1600 record by a staggering 1.4 seconds. Also, he holds the track record for the oldest street race in North America, Trois Rivieres or GP3R as also the track record in Mont Tremblant and Calabogie. Due to his win of F1600 series of the Formula Tour F1600 series Estep was able to participate in the 2016 Mazda Road to Indy Shootout. In addition to his participation in the Formula Tour F1600 Estep competed only in a few events in the Ontario located Toyo Tires F1600 Series where Estep finished 3rd in the overall championship. Estep also participated in the US for only two races over the weekend of F1600 Championship Series events at Road Atlanta and Virginia International Raceway. Estep took the win in one of two races of the week on Virginia International Raceway.

Estep began karting at the age of four in his home track known as Hill Country Kart Club (HCKC) situated within New Braunfels, Texas. He was coached and supported by Tommy Muth of Texas Karts. Estep won many club as well as Texas race championships prior to when beginning karting at an international level in the year the year 2011. In 2011, Estep placed third at the SKUSA Pro Tour TaG Cadet series. The title was taken by Colton Herta and was competed by other promising young talent like Patricio O’Ward, and Sophia Florsch. In 2014, Estep took part in the Dallas Karting Complex (DKC) to take home the SKUSA Pro Tour S5 Shifter class on the Sodi Kart chassis, after winning all three of SKUSA SpringNats as well as SummerNats and then clinching with the SKUSA Pro Tour title at Las Vegas at the SuperNats. The next year Estep competed in a variety of Rotax Max Junior races, including Koene US winning the first Maxspeed US Open Rotax Junior Championship on the Tony Kart chassis by sweeping Round 1 in Dallas and Round 2 and Round 3 in Grand Junction Colorado and securing the Title in Las Vegas.

In 2016, Estep was also able to make the transition from the Junior to Senior class in Karting. He took home the title in his only second attempt at the Florida Winter Tour in Round Two at the Ocala Grand Prix. He raced against a world-class field that included European World Champion Jordan Lennox-Lamb and Canadian Indy Car driver Zachary Claman DeMelo.

2018 – In 2018 Estep returned to the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge series with JDX Racing. Hertz Global also continued their sponsorship along with a new sponsor Byers Porsche of Columbus Ohio. Estep ended the 2018 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge winning the Championship over close friend and competitor Roman DeAngelis
