Tom Wandell is one of the most popular and richest Ice Hockey Forward who was born on January 29, 1987 in Södertälje, Stockholm County, Sweden. Tom Wandell (born January 29 1987) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who currently plays for Djurgardens IF in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).

Before the 2015-16 season, Wandell was traded by Admiral Vladivostok, in one of the biggest trades ever made in KHL history and was traded in exchange for Amur Khabarovsk in June 15th on the 15th of June in 2015. He played in 55 games for Amur and scored twelve assists and scoring four goals. The club resigned him after the season, and signed a two-year contract in the prestigious Orebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League in May of 2016.

After six years in the Dallas Stars organization, Wandell was released to sign a 2-year agreement with the Russian Federation in Russia in the Russian team of HC Spartak Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League on May 3 2013. In 2014-2015, he divided his times between Avangard Omsk as well as Admiral Vladivostok.

Wandell was selected as a member of the youth group from Sodertalje SK in the 5th round 146th overall, with the Dallas Stars in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. The rookie made an appearance with Sweden’s top division SHL during the 2005-06 campaign. The 2006-07 season was a time when Wandell play playing for Assat in the Finnish Liiga prior to moving towards North America, where he participated in 53 games for The AHL’s Iowa Stars in 2007-08.
