Tom Bayley Sanders (born 5 February 1994) is a New Zealand rugby union player who is currently loose forward with Canterbury in the New Zealand’s domestic Mitre 10 Cup as well as The Chiefs playing in the International Super Rugby competition.

The continued success in New Zealand’s national tournaments for rugby saw him included as a member of the Chiefs team in the year the year 2016. Sanders was a surprising inclusion of Sanders’ inclusion in the New Zealand Under-20 side which participated at the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship in the country he grew up in. He was involved in 10 games in 2015, alternating the starting role alongside Reed Prinsep as Canterbury lifted the Premiership title by beating Auckland 25-23. Auckland during the championship final. A knee injury held him back for the first half of 2016 but he returned to play seven times and scored one attempt to lead Canterbury to win their eighth national championship in the span of nine seasons.
