On November 3 in 2010, Griffith had been traded with the Bucks to the Texas Brahmas, also of the Central Hockey League, in exchange for Jeff Hazelwood. On February 4, 2011 again, in the 2010-2011 season Griffith was as well as Steven Later, to the Missouri Mavericks in exchange for Sean Muncy.

Griffith started his career in The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League in the season of 2005-06. In his 2006-07 Ice Hockey season, Griffith played 48 games with the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL and one game with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.
In 2007-08, Griffith remained in the ECHL and played for the Condors as well as the South Carolina Stingrays. In 2008, the Ice Hockey season, Griffith started the campaign with Newcastle Vipers of the EIHL and then resigned from this team for the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL.
