Tina Kiberg is one of the most popular and richest Opera Singer who was born on December 30, 1958 in Frederiksberg, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark. Born on the 30th of December in within the Frederiksberg district in Copenhagen. Tina Sarsoe was the daughter of the famous opera artist Claus Lembek (1929-2010) and the singing teacher Birgit Sarsoe. On the 11th of February, 1990, she got married to the singing artist Stig Fogh Andersen (born 1950).

As of 1993 Kiberg received the award of Tagea Brandt Rejselegat. After being honored as a Knight of Dannebrog back in 1993 she was awarded the Knights First Class medal in 2001. In 2010, she was awarded with the famous Kongelige Kammersanger.

From 1981 until 1985, she continued to study in the Royal Theater’s Opera Academy. In the academy she made her stage debut in 1983, singing Leonora as the Carl Nielsen production Maskarade. In the following year, she second in the competition and was awarded an award of gold at the Benson and Hedges international competition for voice in London. In 1988, while guest of Geneva she was cast in the part in the role of Agathe as she appeared in the Carl Maria of Weber’s Der Freischutz. Her Wagnerian performances have included Else in Lohengrin that she has played at Copenhagen, Vienna, Brussels, Zurich, Houston and several other cities across Germany. In the 1990s, she played Elisabeth in Tannhauser, Sieglinde in Die Walkure and Eva in Die Meistersinger. The year 1995 was the year she became only the second female Danish operetta singer perform at the New York’s Metropolitan Opera in the role of Pamina on stage in The Magic Flute.

Tina Sarsoe Kiberg (born December 30 1958) is a Danish operatic soprano who been a hit on the international stage particularly due to her lead roles for the roles of Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner. Apart from performance in the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, she has also performed in Bayreuth as well as the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

She was raised in Birkerod along with her mother, her partner, Erling Kiberg, and her three half-sisters. They did not get to meet their biological father until she was in her mid-20s. From 1975, she was a student at her first Royal Danish Conservatoire where she received singing lessons along with her high school studies at the Birkerod Gymnasium , where she was matriculated in 1977.

In 2010, she was diagnosed with throat cancer. She thought it could put a stop to her singing career. After several months’ treatment, she slowly began to recover but it was not until May 2012 that she returned to the stage appear in Parsifal. By 2014, she was appearing regularly at the Royal Theatre.
