Terry Hill (born 22 January 1972) is an Australian former professional footballer who was a centre in the 1990s and the 2000s. He was a player for the NRL for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs Magpies Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, and the Wests Tigers as well as representative football for New South Wales and Australia. He is also famous for his television advertising as a part of Lowes Menswear.

At the start of the year 2004 Hill was signed for a second year with the South Sydney Rabbitohs but a knee injury in pre-season training forced him to quit. At the end of 2004, Hill was training once again with a different club from his past Manly-Warringah. Hill would go on to play 16 times for Manly during the 2005 season.

Following his retirement from professional rugby league, Hill has been coaching teams in the New South Wales Country Rugby League. Formerly with the Umina Bunnies, he has been appointed as head coach at the Kincumber Rugby League Football Club in the Central Coast Division for 2008.

Hill was transferred to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 1994. After the 1993 NSWRL season, he travelled to his 1994 Kangaroo tour. He was the top scorer during the ARL portion of 1997’s split-competition.

Hill was involved with his involvement in the “External and Internal Draft” system during the season of 1991 when, after signing a play-off and employment contract together with Western Suburbs Magpies, he was selected out of the internal Draft group in the 1991 season by Eastern Suburbs. Hill’s first appeal was rejected and he ultimately signed an agreement for three years with Easts. In the year 1991, Hill was in the High Court. High Court had overturned the draft system, and in the year 1992 Hill was granted an exemption and was allowed to transfer with the Western Suburbs Magpies.

Hill was called out of retirement in 2006 to play rugby union for the Central Coast Waves. He suffered a knee injury during the Grand Final of the NSW Country Caldwell Cup and was unable to take any part in the Waves’ 2006 Shute Shield campaign.
