Ted Vogt is one of the most popular and richest Military Officer who was born on February 20, 1973 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States. Janson Theodore “Ted” Vogt (born February 20th 1973) is an ex- Arizona State Representative and recently was executive director of the Arizona Corporation Commission. Prior to his appointment as the Executive Director, Vogt worked as the Chief of Operations for Governor Arizona Doug Ducey and later as Director for Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for Traversant Group. On the 11th of January, 2019 Governor Ducey has nominated Vogt to be Director for the Arizona Department of Gaming.

He was named as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives on March 16 in 2010 from the Pima County Board of Supervisors to fill the vacancy that was created after then-State Rep. Frank Antenori was appointed to the Arizona State Senate to fill the seat left vacant by state senator Jonathan Paton who resigned to run for Congress in the 8th congressional district of Arizona. Vogt was elected to the 50th Legislature on November 2nd of 2010. For the fifty-year Legislature Vogt was Chair of the House Ethics Committee; Vice Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee; and was a member of the House Judiciary Committee and the Higher Education, Innovation and Reform Committee.

In 2011, Vogt sponsored major legislation granting all honorably discharged veterans automatic in-state tuition at all three of Arizona’s state universities, as well as all community colleges. Governor Jan Brewer signed the bill into law on April 12, 2011, and the law became effective July 2011. Vogt also sponsored legislation to help combat human smuggling in Arizona. House Bill 2405 was also signed by Governor Brewer and became effective in July 2011.

In 2012, he was an unsuccessful candidate for re-election from the newly drawn 10th district.

When he was in law school Vogt was active as a lawyer in Homeland as well as National Security issues. In this summer the lawyer was involved in Homeland Security concerns at the White House for the Office of Vice President Cheney. In 2009, he clerked on behalf of United States Senator Jon Kyl on the Senate Judiciary’s Subcommittee on Terrorism and Homeland Security in Washington, D.C., as well as the Criminal Division within the United States Attorney’s Office in Tucson.

Vogt was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa and was raised within Salt Lake City, Utah as his family relocated to Utah in 1974. He was an Eagle Scout. The boy graduated in 1991 from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 1991. From 2000 to 2006, Vogt worked as an Intelligence Officer with the United States Air Force. Following the terrorist attacks on September 11 2001, he was deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, and across the whole Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The year 2006 was the last time Vogt had a post at the Pentagon in Washington, where he served as the daily intelligence briefer for the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff of the Air Force. After leaving active duty in the year 2006 the Air Force shifted Vogt to Tucson and enrolled in Law school at Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law.

Vogt was awarded his J.D. in 2010. He passed the bar later that year, and entered private practice in Tucson, Arizona.
