He made his debut in the major leagues the following day. He was recalled by Rochester the 19th of April and was recalled back to Minnesota in May 17. Following his May 17 promotion was over, he remained for the rest of the season in Minnesota finishing 3-1 and an 3.96 ERA in 57 relief appearances.
