He played for the University of California and was selected into the Indianapolis Colts in the first round (19th overall) of the 1997 NFL draft. Glenn was participant in that Super Bowl winning Colts team, which defeated their opponents, the Chicago Bears, and made three Pro Bowls in his 10-year playing career.
In August of 2011, Glenn became President of D.R.E.A.M. Alive, Inc., an Indianapolis-based non-profit group created in the year 2011 by Glenn along with his spouse, Maya.
On the 24th of July 2007 following the victory in Super Bowl XLI the season prior to that, Glenn announced his retirement declaring that it was the end of his love for football.

He was selected as one of the Indianapolis Colts’ first pick (#19 overall) in the 1997 NFL Draft. He played in every game in seven of his ten professional seasons, and was out for the 2003 season with six game due to knee injuries. His first Pro Bowl appearance in the 2004 season, which ended into being the first of three consecutive Pro Bowls took part in. But after the NFL informed Glenn that he could also be a part of this year’s Pro Bowl, they later informed him that he didn’t not get enough votes and that he would instead be an alternative. Glenn did, however, participate at the Pro Bowl replacing the injured Willie Roaf. Tony Dungy, who generally was a strong supporter of the NFL said that he was not happy by the manner in which the NFL responded to this particular issue.
Glenn earned the requirements for his BA diploma in social welfare at UC Berkeley in 1999. He completed the Master of Business Administration in the Executive Education program at the Purdue University Krannert School of Management and graduated on December 12, 2012.
