Tai Pichit is one of the most popular and richest Thai snooker player who was born on January 10, 1963 in Thailand. Chuchart Trairatanapradit, also known by the name Tai Pichit (born 10 January 1963) is a Thai professional snooker player from the past.
He also competed at the 1996 UK Championship, defeating Jimmy White 9-7 in the opening round. He went on into the second round which he lost to Joe Johnson 6-9.
Pichit played in the World Snooker Championship three times including the first stage in the year 1995. His best overall rank was in 1994’s Thailand Open, where he made it to the final 16 stages.

Pichit began professional play in 1991, when he made his professional debut. His first tournament was the Thailand Open, where he was knocked out 4-5 in his first match in the first round by Allison Fisher. His best performance came from 1994. He took part at his first Thailand Open, beating Colin Morton and Stephen Hendry 5-2, before losing to Morgan 5-4 during the round two.
A year later the following year, he took part in the first World Snooker Championship, qualifying for the 1995 edition of the event. By doing so, Pichit became the second Thai player, following James Wattana, to play at the Crucible Theatre. Pichit beat Mark Whatley 5-3, Adrian Rosa 5-1, Mike Dunn 5-2, Warren King 10-0, Stuart Reardon 10-8, Alex Higgins 10-5, Euan Henderson 10-6 and Mike Hallett 10-8 to set the stage for a match against Willie Thorne. In the final, Pichit led 2-0 and kept Thorne at 4-4, 6-7, but ultimately fell 6-10.
In 1998–99, Pichit was ranked 124th, the highest ranking in his career, but ended the season at 150th, with his final tournament at the 1999 China International, where he lost 0–5 to John Giles. He lost his professional status immediately thereafter, aged 36.
